How the Process Unfolds

After initial contact we will require a copy of your Curriculum Vitae (CV) and direct contact details for your references. We will start by getting a precise idea of what you and your family are seeking. We will answer any questions and provide you with basic information on working in Australia. We can describe for you the different location profiles we have for various positions and what those current positions are. If we do not have a current position in your field we will seek to find what you require. We will provide you with information on areas such as remuneration, workload expectations, the Australian medical system and living in Australia.

After you have completed an application (click here for application) we will then require you to supply us with your Curriculum Vitae. We will require you to submit notarized copies of your Medical Diplomas and Training Certificates as well as a Certificate of Good Standing from the body with which you are registered to practice medicine. From this information we will interview your referees by phone and verify your credentials. During this pre-qualifying stage we will provide you with research material to enable you to become more familiar with Australia.

Once you're pre-qualified, we will work together on closely matching your skills and interests with an open position. We will provide you with a description of the post and its location. We will then link you to a suitable employer who will also check your references. A phone interview will then be arranged between you and the prospective employer. An opportunity will be provided for you to speak to a doctor already in employment of whom you can make enquiries, if needed.

Assuming both parties are interested in proceeding we will commence the next step, which is the process of arranging your Australian Medical Registration and Visa. We will personally help you through this paperwork to ensure all details are completed as required.

From then we will arrange your flight itinerary and send you a welcome to Australia pack with information on your work location among other useful information.
